Default GT2RS Porsche rear stabilizer bar $399.00

Folks, I called Sonnen Porsche. They will put on SPECIAL the 997GT2RS sway bar part number 997.333.701.94 or 997.333.701.96 for $399.00

http://sonnenporscheoemparts.com/par...catalogid=9886

Call Neil 866-SONNEN1

They will ship FedEx ground> it's a larger box.. Expect to pay $40 to 55 in shipping (ground US... estimate)....

Porsche west coast warehouse has 3 each, Atlanta east coast warehouse has 6 each.. So 9 available in the US..

Thats a good price. It hiked after the 1st of the year, and went over 400.

FYI, I called my dealer today (Danvers MA) and while the bar is a little over $500 MSRP, they have a 20% PCA discount which brings it to $401 or thereabout. Local so no delivery fee but obviously have to pay sales tax. I have no idea if every dealer has the PCA discount.

Kevin, can u please confirm if this will fit a manual 2012 997.2 TT? I know it will have clearance issues with the crossmember on a .2 PDK....does the .2 manual use the old one? I have received some conflicting info and would appreciate your insight before I make a move on this.

Thanks

Sorry once again for the level of ignorance, but what is the difference between 997.333.701.94 and 997.333.701.96? And is the GT2RS bar stiffer than the GT2?

There is no difference between the .94 and the .96. Same bar. Just a newer designation when the GT3's switched to the GT2 stiffer bar with the .2 models.

Are you sure? Pretty steep price difference between the two...

Yes, the .96 supersedes the .94 part. Call Suncoast or Sonnen and ask them. I have no idea why the Euro parts company is hoping different prices.

Andrew, I don't know.. A 997.2TT 6speed is rare! Spend the $400 and try to install it. If it doesn't fit.. Sell it.
