According to PET, 997.2 Turbo with M/T has the same crossmember as PDK. This crossmember is the prohibiting component. The GT2RS has the older design crossmember(same as GT3/RS and .1 Turbo).

Thanks Tom. That kinda sucks....I was hoping to add the GT2 rear bar to current setup with GMG springs and TPC DSC. I really don't want to bother swapping the front bar....I'll call you or Harris later to discuss the pros and cons of adding just a TPC rear bar to remove a little more suspension slop. Love the DSC btw.

Thank you for using DSC and for your positive feedback.

Usually people install stiffer rear bar to transfer more weight to the front(create more front traction and front sensitivity) to dial out corner entry understeer. The side affect of this is stiffer rear bar is it can reduce rear grip during corner exit(oversteer). Think of bar stiffness change as a seesaw or a balance scale and how weight distribution comes in play. Anyway, as much as we would love to sell you a set of super awesome TPC bars, you could put more aggressive alignment in the front to reduce corner entry understeer or if you are saavy with data use DSC tuning software to increase front end grip or slightly drag the brake when initiating the turn in(aka trail braking in a mild way) or adjust tire pressure to grip. All of the above will help in some degree presuming you are trying to dial out corner entry understeer. It has been my observation that it is a common enthusiast's approach to dial out corner entry understeer using stiffer rear bar alone for this model car. Not that there's anything wrong with that as long as you know why you're doing it and get the results you're looking for. For us, a matching set of bars not only produce front/rear balance but also produce supplemental roll stiffness and what we refer to in the biz as platform.

Call Neil 866-SONNEN1

They will ship FedEx ground> it's a larger box.. Expect to pay $40 to 55 in shipping (ground US... estimate)....

Porsche west coast warehouse has 3 each, Atlanta east coast warehouse has 6 each.. So 9 available in the US..
One quick addition, you will most likely need the bushings as well, part number 997 333 792 95, and you need (2), the pair adds $43 to the total.

Cheers

I totally agree with this, you really need matching front bar with rear. I've got the Eibachs and after consulting with PHound I have the rear set in the middle and the front at full hard with my PSS10's at soft end at 3 clicks front and 4 rear. This has tied down the rear yet has given me plenty of front end grip.

Installed the GT2RS rear sway bar and it's a very good improvement, especially considering the price. Really tightens up the rear!! Should be on everyone's mod list...

Ordered 997.333.701.96 from www.scuderiacarparts.com (no affiliation).

Should be about $450 shipped including two new bushings.

Rec'd the bar - what's the preference for setting? Three adjustments available.

I did middle based off Chris' recommendation and it made a noticeable difference over the stock bar. I'm happy with the results and will leave it as it is.
