Me too!

This isn't it, is it?

https://www.tradebit.com/filedetail....service-repair

It's says, "Cover: PORSCHE 997.1 vehicles - Carrera 2/4, S, Cabrio, GT2/GT3/RS and Turbo models from 2004-2009 but NOT the Generation 2 models," on the website?

Default Just bought them too...

Hi all,

I just bought the 997 manuals from tradebit for $20 USD.

I am disappointed for my purposes. I like doing DIY for the smaller stuff,
electronics and stuff like that. I like installing newer radios, parking laser systems, rear cameras, oil changes, etc.

I would have liked to know how to disassemble the middle console, IP cluster, front bumper, etc. I know many members have DIY for these but I was hoping this manual would tell me the "Porsche" way to do things.

It is all about under the hood stuff and the exterior mechanics of the 997's.

Again for my purposes, I wasted my money but if rebuilding an engine is your thing then this manual is for you.

The attached are the files this manual came with.

CodeRed, yes you can.

You will download a zip file and there are 11 separate PDF files.

Once you buy it and download it you can put them wherever you want on as many devices as you want.
I put it on my keychain USB so I have it for a friend if needed. I have it on my work computer and home
computer as well.

This is what came in mine anyhow from tradebit.

Hope this helps,
Andy

For the interior and body stuff, the regular (non-turbo) 997 manuals that are all over ebay are fine.

Disappointing to see people paying this manual company a nominal fee for what they're essentially pirating and selling.

The manuals are available for free online - whilst downloading them isn't putting money in the hands of the right people, at least it isn't putting it in the wrong ones.

Search for "997 Workshop Manual" in Google, ignore the first result.
