3,000 manual cars out of 19,200 cars?? That means only 15.6% are manual? That sounds more like the manual percentage for a 997.2 turbo.

...Through my search for a 997.1, it seemed like it was closer to half. 6-speed .1's weren't that hard to come by. ..unless I was really lucky and coming across a lot of 6-speeds during the period of my search.

Sure - I got it off of this pff-thread:
https://www.pff.de/porsche/index.php...#post153507458

which in turn found it in here:

Amazon Amazon
which is available in the US as well (a *bit* more expensive):
Amazon Amazon

See below for the most actual copy of that title.

Currently I am looking for worldwide production numbers for the 991 GT3RS. The only thing Total 911 has published so far is 60 of them in UK. Does your source have GT cars?
No, the latest version is from 2014:
Amazon Amazon

I was referring to US 997.1 turbo manual coupes. Once you sift out ROW cars, .2s, cabs and tips 3k is about right.

Ahh yes, my bad..Misunderstood. 3k sounds reasonable if it's just the US.
I read somewhere that the US is a huge bulk of the market so I wonder how many of those 19,200 cars are in the US.

About 30% come to US as I recall. EDEZ had some further breakdown on coupes/cabs, so that gets you near the 3000 7.1 TT MT.

Nice! 40,000 between 996 and 997 turbos. That is good to know.

...and there are more 6MT than tiptronics which is good for buyers which generally want the .1 in a 6MT.

The link above is N. America rather than worldwide. Almost 1600 more 6MT than tiptronics in N. America.

Not too surprising as PDK is a proper transmission for sportscars, nothing that can be said from a gearbox with torque converter (which does not mean that this is a bad 'box in general!)

Interesting data. 1,301 2009 models, most USA. 530 coupes (call it 500 for USA). 60% MT. Means 300 '09 MT coupes for USA. Which tells me what I already knew, my TT is special and a keeper!
