Radiator repair
Has anyone had any luck having their radiators repaired by a radiator shop as opposed to replacing with new? I use to work in an auto repair shop and I remember having radiators repaired all the time, but I'm not sure if for some reason the porsche radiator does not do well being repaired. My right rad is starting to seep. I don't get any dripping but I do get some coolant smell and when I removed the bumper to clean and inspect there is a small spot that appears to have dried coolant on it.

I tried the repair angle as I had a tiny leak (more of a discoloration that did not even drip) and no one would touch it. As mentioned above plastic tanks. Found a relatively cheap new one online and that is likely the way to go.
Good luck,

Why not go after market (CSF etc)? Is there little real value proposition?

Found a Behr on ebay for $459 delivered. Apparently behr manufactures the original radiators so home fully they are goor quality. The csf looks nice but they an extra $250 ea and I am. to sure if there would be that big an advantage. The factory radiators gave always kept the car within normal operating temp so I don't think I need more cooling capacity.
