Default Ultimate Motorwerks Summer Clutch Sale $1,595.00

Ultimate Motorwerks Stage 997TT Dual Mass Sachs Race Engineering Clutch kit $1,595.00

For those looking and needing a new clutch. I have bundled the Sachs 764 Race Engineering Pressure plate, Rigid Sachs clutch disk, Sachs throw out bearing, and pressure plate bolts in one kit. Many have called this a Stage 2.5 or 3.0 clutch kit. I have run and sold this kit for the 993TT, 996TT and 997TT owners.

Feel free to call, PM or Email me..

Dual mass flywheel is not included in pricing. Contact me for quote if needed.

I upgraded to this when I did the cam pin and coolant pin, it feels perhaps 10% stiffer than stock and grips like a ****

My old boss also has one on his 996tt, still going strong 3 years later. I think it's the best combination for a 99Xtt that doesn't involve a LWFW.

interesting.. is this literally the best clutch for the money?

i only plan on getting a flash and exhaust.

i currently have to roll on the power once in gear as it feels like the stock clutch doesn't like it

it doesn't necessarily slip although it doesn't grip with great force

Yes this is the clutch you want for tune/exhaust.

Are people replacing their DMF everytime they replace the disk?

Might be interested in this kit for my 997tt.
Noticed last weekend that the clutch was slipping after turbo boost in first gear and in second.
Could be because the clutch was cold?

Just got to get through the holiday season first $$

Nomak, I will PM you. I didn't receive your email.
Quadcammer, it depends on how bad the clutch has been slipping. Typically if the car has less than 60K miles on it and one has sent the car into the shop for repairs the dual mass will be okay.

If one lets it slips for a month, the dual mass will need to be replaced. I have new flywheels in stock.

Is the stock dual mass perfectly good for tune and exhaust type power?
nobody modifies these unless you want a LWFW right?

you just need to beef up the clutch and pressure plate/ TO bearing?

Yes, the stock dual mass is good to handle a tune and exhaust. The dual mass was used on the 996Turbo, 996GT2 and GT3.. This also includes the 997GT2...

The condition and usage determines if one must replace it...

For those that track there car.. This is my kit of choice.

what is a LWFW... my brain has been all over lately as I need to eventually change the plugs in the next year, warranty is up next summer and if I have to change the plugs i'm thinking what else has to be done such as clutch, pinned coolants, belts...

Since I have the 550HP kit, i'm curious if it's beating up my clutch or not.... But i don't beat on the car.

Light weight flywheel. I wouldn't recommend it unless you plan to track your car a bunch. They chatter quite a bit.
