Sorry for the dumb question - but I just picked up the car in Houston and driving (parked right now ) ---- I am alone and having sensory overload ---- how do I change the trip on the Navigation to miles ... the kilometers are driving me nutz ..

BTW - car is a blast .... on to NOLA now ....

This:

Setting the unit for distances
1. Press the INFO button.
2. Press the OPTION button or touch the tab of
the same name in the header.
3. Select "SET PCM system"
> "Regional settings"
> "Distance".
4. Select one of the two options "km" or "mls".

Since an answer was posted, I'm hopong it's OK to slightly thread-jack this: What causes PCM 3.0 to switch back european measurements for everything?

I've had this happen twice now over the last year or so. I'm starting to wonder if this doesn't happen when the keyless entry goes to sleep when the car is sitting. Is there a back-up battery I should check?

Some functions get programmed to the key you use. So you may have to reset to miles using the other key.
