front bumper has a small damage and a solid scratch
front right QP solid scratch
rear QP solid scratch
back right rim has been curbed
Few small fuzz spots on the top
I got the dealer down to 55k plus tax but just don't know if it's worth it ..

I hope someone local can chime in for you but I'll add my two cents from prior experience. I assume the car is at the dealership on Ala Moana. I purchased my first PCar from them 15 years ago, and back then they were good to deal with....in fact, I still have that car (and added two more since). I'd recommend finding a independent German car specialist to perform a PPI for you. I can't give any recommendations since I haven't lived on the island for over 10 years now, but I recall there was an exotic dealer on King street. Not sure if they are still around anymore. If the car has lived it's entire life in Hawaii a good inspection would be well worth the money because of the salt environment it's lived in. I had some newer vehicles that had bits such as freeze plugs rust out in only a matter of a couple of years. The price you are at seems okay for Hawaii, but if items are found with the PPI you can use those as bargaining chips to lower the price, or potentially find out there are showstoppers on the car that you'd not know about otherwise. You've identified cosmetic items already, but with a Turbo you'll want to make sure it's mechanically sound.

Good luck with the potential purchase!

No Crono-you can dealer add for $500.

back bumper has been compleaty repainted-no biggy

front bumper has a small damage and a solid scratch-show pic of damage? they cannot be repainted if deformed. New bumper with paint $1000.

front right CP solid scratch-whats cp?
rear CP solid scratch-what cp?

back right rim has been curbed-$100

Few small fuzz spots on the top-no biggy.

I got the dealer down to 55k plus tax but just don't know if it's worth it .. Let dealer replace bumper of cut another $1600 then its a good buy already.

You can make up for the lack of Sport Chrono with a tune, and the dash arguably looks better without the wart, but it's sort of weird to find a TT without it and it does seem to knock resale down by a grand or two.

Price seems fair for the condition you describe. The the color is acceptable to you, I think you'd be in a really enjoyable car for a fair price.

I don't know the Hawaiian market, but I don't know if cars get tracked there? Doubt it, so likely it spent the first 10 years as a typical Porsche owner drives....5/6000 year.

Was the car maintained at the dealer you're buying from?

You can add it without the wart at any dealer.

Where? Suncoast is just shy of $1400 and brand new from dealer is even more for bumper skin alone.

New bumper done right will run closer to $2k without any connections.

I would say $1100-1200. I inquired at the bodyshop of parkplace 2 years ago.

That either doesn’t include a new OE bumper or the cost on OE bumpers has gone up significantly since then. You’re now looking at $1400 plus paint, so figure another $400-ish in paint. Add labor for install if you’re not doing it yourself. It’s a $2k job now.

Ill find something $1000-1200 for it working with a regular bodyshop, have them paint it and installing it yourself.

Its still reasonable if you can discount it from the dealer.

Is the cost a bumper re-spray the critical part of your buying decision?

Let us know what you do on the car. Gotta imagine a 997TT cab is a very fun car to own in Hawaii!
