I have a lot of options ticked on my cab inc PCCB, they last ages and can be replaced with steel rotors if need be when they eventually fall due.

Options I would have liked are definitely PCM 3 but mine is a 2007 so wasn't available, other than that, yellow seat belts to match the PCCB and maybe yellow stitching. Oh and illuminated door sills look great, they would be nice!

Never change for steel, just have them redone !
Anyway, if you don't track your brakes will last almost forever !

My used 09 came with PCCB's. I've asked several experts and they all say the rotors will last the life of the car just as long as you change the pads on a timely basis, certainly they should last in excess of 100K miles. My car has 30K on it now and the original pads are only about half worn. If you regularly track your car then their life is apparently shorter.

I agree. I also thing longer term the options and pricing will improve. So, I'm super glad I have them, and think they are a great option on a street car.

I love them. Zero wear, Zero brake dust and they stop so well you barely need to touch the brakes.

Not only does the initial bite of the brakes feel great, modulation is awesome, and as you say, virtually no brake dust. Add to that a significant reduction in unsprung weight which is a big plus. Then there's the fact that they just look bad ***.......

I thought pccb owners overrated the whole no brake dust thing, but now owning one find I have washed the car numerous times and wheels have always looked clean and never really in need of any intensive wash

That, to me, is by far the biggest plus !! I owned 2 997t's with PCCB and one without and you really feel the difference.

PCCB last a long, long time. The big yellows are pimp lookin' too... The abilty to switch to iron rotors is a plus.

Main thing would be the weight saving and no storage rust

i wish i had pccb as well. But to be honest i've gone with Ceramic pads and i'm pretty happy with them too. I could live without the PCCB.

I wish i had backup sensors would have been cool.

One thing i regret i have is carbon fiber dash. That's absolute crap.

+1

I didn't buy new but I would definitely have wanted the PCM3 (which wasn't available on an '08). Yellow Seat Belts and the LSD.

But I'm very happy with my options.

Wish I had them - cleaning the wheels extensively each time is a challenge. I have the RS Spider Wheels and they're tough.
