Where did you tap power for the green button? And where did you ground that button at? Directions says to ground the unit and the button at the same spot.

The green button connects to the TranzIt harness. Black to black, pink to pink. That's what the directions say.

Once all connected did u run it through learning mode? And what steps did u take?

I have mine connected and I can stream music but none of the button functions are working, other than holding it for 2 seconds to put the unit in pairing mode.

I just followed the instructions in the manual. Paired right away, button works, no issues.

I had trouble when I first had it all wired up. Run it through the "learning Mode" and it should work.

What colour is flashing on the unit itself? I imagine you haven't buttoned everything back up yet? If you are getting 3 flashes during the pairing mode, it's searching and connecting to something - this was my issue.

Mine showed up today. Looking forward to installing it this weekend. Anyone care to show exactly how they routed the microphone wire?

Functionally, does this unit do more or less than the dennison (assuming the dennison is functioning properly)?

In fairness, this unit is very new to the market as far as I know. And I think that Dension, Tooki, and Nav-TV are good products, it's Porsche's interface that is temperamental. I've had the Dension in my Audis and it was a great product.

The Dension is theoretically better because it offers full functionality through the PCM (changing tracks, browsing playlists, etc.) and it is supposed to sound better since it uses the IR port vs the FM antenna.

The reason why I like the TranzIt is because it is very simple and effective for what I need it to do. It sounds pretty good to these ears as well.

I've been able to get it to pair but then it will randomly disconnect and then I can't get it to pair again without reseting. Also each time I get in the car it doesn't automatically pair. I have to pair again and sometimes it will others it won't and I have to start all over.

Are you guys using the latest version of iOS

To pair I hold down button for 2 seconds and unit flashes red and green.

I wired my whole unit up so u can't even see it's there if u take panels off. I put the mic in the blank pop out i have in the dome light over head console and drilled the blank cover with a lot of small holes to allow for a stealth install of the mic. I ran the wire inside the headliner along the windshield then down the a piller along the factory wiring. Then into the space the factory wiring goes down into the dash exiting by the fuse panel then under the carpet behind the pedals to the space behind the center PCM stack. Obviously I took my car fully apart to do this. I ran the button down the center tunnel into the center console ashtray so when u flip the lid Open it's there. Yes it's a bit much but I wanted a completely stealth install.

Yup. iPhone 5S here with latest iOS.

I would suggest contacting their tech support. I did this and they were quite helpful and pleasant to deal with.

I use this, http://www.satechi.net/index.php/blu...phones-tablets

I plug it in on the passenger side 12 volt. Thing works great! sounds excellent also. No buttons to press just say call and it does. I use Pandora and when I get back into the car it starts to play auto. $60.00 and no wire cuts anywhere. Music info shows up on center cluster and PCM! I love it.
