Production Numbers for 997 TT?

I wasn't tracking colors in the 2009 cab analysis, but most of the cars seem to be silver, black, white, and grey. My first 997 was midnight blue, so I'm a fan of that color. With that said, I love cobalt blue. Great find!

Thanks Johnny I'll include your car's information, and since I have Bryan's info now too I'll add that as well .
From the 2009 cab numbers, it appears that approximately 230 cars were equipped in the US with MT and if the coupe numbers hold up there are about 260 with MT. Stay tuned...

My '09 TT Coupe #418 build date 11/08 MT (Basalt Black, PCCB). Bought it 2/09. Dealer had quite a few 09 TT's, mostly cabs and mostly TIPs. Market was pretty dead at the time due to the late 08 financial meltdown.

Thanks everyone who provided their car's information. With that said, anyone else notice a trend in the information coming from the Rennlist'ers? I am not a statistician but I know the information from a sample (i.e., the 30 cars) of a population (all 2009 turbos) needs to be unbiased or random. The seven owners of 2009 coupes who provided their information all have MT cars! I think that says a lot about the owners that post on Rennlist enjoying the engagement of a MT, but skews the sample data. As a result of this apparent bias, I'll go back to pulling data from Auto Trader and eBay to achieve the 30 cars.

The easiest place to find the vin and production date is on the black sticker on the edge of the drivers door. You probably only need the last three digits of the vin and the production date is listed as a month/year date (i.e. 01/09) at the corner of the label.
EDEZ TT, I noticed the same thing about manuals. It seems the majority of owners here have 6 speeds while the 997.1 cars for sale are predominantly tips.
