Default Brought my 997TT to Rennewerke This Morning

I've had my 997TT for about 2 weeks now. I purchased it from a dealer in Dallas and had the PPI done at RAC Performance. They were fantastic. Being that I am in NY, I never had time to go down to Dallas to do an inspection or sit with the service folks and really ask a ton of questions.

For peace of mind, I brought my car to Rennwerke this morning in Elmsford, NY and am now awaiting their feedback. They are doing a thorough PPI and I'm going to also have them (hopefully) hook up some form of iPhone connector.

Fingers crossed that the PPI and check-up comes back solid.

I took a few pics of the service center... it's a Porsche heaven.

Came back all positive. Going to pick it up later this afternoon. Now I can drive the car knowing that it's healthy... all good!

All is solid. Cheech and Jasper checked out the car and all is healthy. Because I was never there to pick up the car from Dallas to make sure everything was OK, I wanted a shop here to triple-check it over now that it's in my possession. For peace of mind. Rennwerke couldn't be any better and they were fantastic to deal with.

Was the dealer you purchased from a Porsche dealer? Any warranties in place?

RAC has a good rep here, so surprised you wasn't totally rest assured with their PPI. Though I understand your concern for your not having seen the car in person.

And when Rennwerke did your PPI, did you ask to sit in on the road test with Cheech at the helm...

BTW, did Cheech give you the "if the car is not clean, don't bring it in for service"?

Glad all checked out.

Now post some more pics.

The original dealer was not a Porsche dealer but I did purchase a 3rd party warranty. I know those 3rd party warranties are not ideal, but wanted a peace of mind. I was very confident in RAC Performance but I just wanted to see everything for myself.

I didn't get to sit-in with Cheech during the road test (I dropped the car off while I went to work in Manhattan) and came back to pick it up at the end of the day... but he was impressed with it.

I'll post more pics once I take a few!

I know they've been around awhile, never heard too much about them, good or bad,
Let us know.
