Hey guys...

So I'm really happy with my new exhaust but u can't keep it BC my dealer told me that I will lose the warranty because the engine light is on (the exhaust is catless) I think us BS but to me is more important to have warranty than 1000000 WHP so I made my choice and I'm letting my exhaust go.

The exhaust is really good, not too loud at all, very deep and it definitely delivers the power.

I just paid $2999 make me a reasonable offer if you are interested

Thank you

Youth, too much money and impulse buying - dangerous combination!! I've suggested before - research, take a breath and then make your decisions. In less than 2 months you've added parts, taken them off, added again - surely there's a cost involved even though you say you've sold the take-off parts. Whoever is doing your installs for you is going to be able to retire soon.

lol... good one Leo. You've done it again and in record time!

A word of advice....where certain mods are concerned, all roads lead to Rome.

It's a really good exhaust... I would live to keep it if my dealer was a littler more flexible but in south Florida there is only 2 options

Champion- They won't help you if you don't buy Tubi from them

The Collection- they are a little more flexible because they are busy selling Ferraris all day but the don't want me to bring a car with the engine light on, I can turn it off but I'm sure they won't like to see the car with a tune file.

The tune is perfect and the exhaust too but I need to have an exhaust that won't turn the engine light on.

I know is true there is money involved and for sure I will lose on this one... But the good thing is that I do my own installations so nobody is gonna retire here....

911 exhaust -$2999
BMC filter -$200
Werks1 box -$3500
FS CAI -$850

You can see where I'm going - you've already spent more than an EP1 would cost ($4525) - you keep saying the EP is too expensive...and you get no CEL's with the EP systems.

Guys we are all grown ups and can handle spending our cash the way we want. I am sure Leo's money doesnt grow on trees, so he knows what rash decisions he has made and is learning from them. One way or another we have all done similar things.
What if the EP system is not loud enough for him, even in EP2 guise? Let him do his research, he will find what suits him best.

I can see where you are going but i never paid $3500 for the Werks1, I paid $1200 plus my $250 BMC filter and sold it for +$1500. FS HOT air I paid $750 and I sold it for $450... ;-) and you forgot the fabspeed exhaust 2 version -$400

Because I will have to spend like $1000 more... And since everybody talk so good about Europipe I will like to get it.

911tune is good but is not loud at all... I'm coming from Corvettes and Vipers so I like it loud. Europipe or GMG would be next

Any "loud" exhaust is likely to trip CELs, I'd go with a very mild exhaust or better yet just leave it stock for awhile. Given your situation, tubi from champion is your best bet. They usually have a couple of used ones around.

I have heard and driven both EP1 in my car, which I love, and EP2 in my friends car.
My partner has changed 2 other systems in his car.
He currently has a Sportech, swiss company, very expensive but he got a great deal for it used. Has pressure sensitive flaps and becomes louder at full throttle.
http://www.sportec.ch/page3087.html

However, his previous system was a speedtech. http://www.speedtechexhausts.com/
This exhaust is significantly more high pitched, and loud, not in a low rumble level, but at WOT.
I believe they are a lot cheaper and may also fit the bill.

Leo, note that the faster you go, the more sound is left behind you, so you can only fully appreciate how loud a system is if you are outside the car, and it does a driveby with someone else!
My partners car is tuned, so it is faster than mine. On occasional spirited runs, leaving from a light, it was often that he was a few yards ahead of me. With my windows rolled down, the scream of the speedtech was quite something!

I have also read a few good things about the system you have now, I believe its a cross pipe, and those tend to be loud and aggressive. As I am afraid the EP may disappoint you in loudness relative to a catless cross pipe you have, I would suggest you try it with cats if you cant sell it without a loss. And when the time comes and if you come across a used EP2, give it a shot, but then the slight depreciation that you will get from the system you have now will also be matched with some utility which you havent yet had.

Good luck.
