I will definitely be tinting it just not sure what %.

Faspilot, yours looked great!

For those who don't know, the sun here in Denver is brutal (I just got a reminder this weekend with a sunburn from my boys' baseball game). Tint seems like a requirement.

A friend of mine has an 05 911s that is silver with limo tint and he complains that it is too dark that he is nit able to reverse at night. He has basically refused to drive at night now because it is so dark, but damn it looks good. I however wasn't going to go that dark.

Thanks everyone for all of the input. I am still undecided, but leaning towrds something similar to how "faspilot's" looked.

I will post pics when it is completed on Friday.

I have 50% tint. It's great all around in all situations.
Have limo tint on a truck, very difficult to see at night. Sometimes open the window when making a left turn to see the road better and see if any pedestrians crossing.

I tint all my cars with 30% for light interiors, 35% for dark interiors (also brand dependent, one company's 35% is not the same as another company's 35%)

5% and 15% tint aka "limo black" gives you the most grief with law enforcement, can't see in

30% or 35% is the way to go (brand dependent and color of interior dependent), gives you less grief with law enforcement, gives you the look from outside to inside of just barely discerning a person figure

50% is best for UV protection, full leather interior that you want to protect, no law enforcement grief, can see clearly who's driving

Ask yourself how much grief you think you can handle with law enforcement...that will dictate how dark you want to go

Checkout this site
http://www.tintlaws.com/

Next, make sure your window tinter uses a quality tint

Cheap tint is known to fade and affect radio and other electronics transmission

My tinter uses
http://www.formulaone.com/en/pinnacle.aspx

But there are other preferred brands

Lastly, don't do the door windows lighter then the rear quarters and rear window, that "2 tone" is mad ugly...

And YMMV

Your picture appears to be
35% on the doors, 5% on the quarters and rear

Legality of tint usually applies to front doors

Your rear quarters and rear are not actually illegally tinted

20% on my TT works great. I lived in Conifer,CO- now back down south. I prefer to keep my windows tinted at all times. I see out of my vehicle fine-

All of my cars are 35-50%. No problems with police to worry about and honestly there's enough privacy with 35%.

regarding Denver - please don't OVERestimate how often it will be sunny there, especially in winter. If anything I'd go with a lighter tint living there.

You guys getting about 9 inches of snow right now early in May?

Its crap! I have about 3 inches outside and the driveway is icing up. It is the unusual (for Denver) heavy wet snow/ice mixture.

I am SOOOOOOO ready for summer!!!!

I remember being snowed in May 09. Living west of Denver- just past red rocks @ 9500ft. That was some high living!

I love the color choices!! I'm a huge fan of color in that part of the country!! Gets so bland and it's great to see a splash of color on the road!!

Tint is done. I am really happy with the 15%. My youngest was thrilled as you can see by the big smile.

The technology of window tint has gone very far in the last five years. With the creation of ceramic tint and now Nano Tint, you no longer have to go dark to get excellent heat rejection. We use exclusively Prestige Film Technologies' Spectra PhotoSync. This is a high end Nano Tint in which its IR (infrared) rejecting capabilities can reach up to 98.5%. For comparison purposes most window tint on the market only block out 20%-30% of IR. Even what was once considered to be the top products on the market (ie ceramic by Huper Optic, Pinnacle, Madico Advanced Ceramics, etc.) only block 65%-80% of IR.

Below are some links to what the film looks like and also some youtube video demos we created to show how well Spectra Photosync works compared to other products on the market.
