Eric is the man. Yes, Supreme went through tremendous effort to source the wheels, get them here, through customs and on the car - a long and intensive process. Also recommended the TechArt springs which I think give the perfect drop, and feel terrific. Congrats on your new car, should be an awesome build. I think I remember you from the Lotus forums (had an Elise as well).

Also, thank you ALL for the nice comments, I truly appreciate the feedback!

Why were the wheels hard to source? Custom-made?

Back-ordered, had to get the fronts & rears separately... just took some effort on their part.

Well, I'd say the wait was definitely worth it!

Eric never said the TechArt's were "better", really came down to my preference... I didn't want to drop as agressively as the H&R's seem to sit. (I ran these on my old S4). Techart is about $300 more, otherwise just a preference thing - hard to go wrong between H&R and Bilstein (who makes the TechArt springs).

Another spring is the tuv Europe version eilbach, -20 fr/-15mm rear, hr tend to drop 30mm, gmg 20mm.. I may try those tuvs with the b8's.
I believe eilbach makes both the gmg and techart springs.

I believe you are right about Eibach making GMG's springs as well, but with a great ammount of input and proprietary settings from GMG. Supposed to be fantastic.

Rockcenter,
Welcome with the new TT! Your car looks really awesome! I love the wheels and the ride height!

I have been driving my car with the stock wheels/ride height... But tonight I looked at the cr and it sits so high it looks like I am ready for Jeep Jamboree...I will be thinking about making changes...

I do like these BBS wheels, and TTSurgeon what do you have on your car please? I love those wheels. They look like what's on my GT2.
