Default Just joined the 997TT club!

Hey guys, I picked up 2007 997TT about couple weeks ago. It's got some miles(63k) but well taken care with very nice

options(including upgraded sound system) and more importantly it has a CPO warranty until August 2014. So I picked it

up with peace of mind. I'm coming from C6 Z06 which is a great car but nothing compares to 997TT. I have a plan to mod

it lightly since it has a warranty. I have done few already!

I know you guys want some pics for approval so here we go!

Swapped the hood with flat dry carbon.

Also replaced yellowish stock bulbs with 6000k to match LED lightings previously done. People say that the 6000k bulbs

decrease in performance compare to 4300k stock bulbs but IMO they do not. They are as bright as stock if not brighter.

I love them! Driver side is 6000k and passenger side is stock.

Finally I just installed Fabspeed V3 exhaust with highflow cats and polished quad tips. Love the sound especially turbo

spooling sound at high rpms. No good pics of exhaust as of yet.

I will update this thread as I add more stuff in.

Wow, 250k miles? That should be earlier model (993, 996 etc), right? Either way, it's great to hear that our car can run forever!

Sure, I paid 61.5k with 17 months CPO warranty and $10k in upgrade sound system/electronics installed 6 months ago. I think it's a great deal that I couldn't pass.

Funny! I had a c6 Z06 and I trade it for a Viper (big mistake) then I trade the Viper for my 2007 silver with 38k miles with 2 years of CPO warranty for 68k (almost the same deal you got) and I'm really happy! The 997 TT is just amazing... I installed the air filter from Babspeed and the sound it's amazing but I'm not sure if I gain any power... Tomorrow I'm getting my babspeed V2 exhaust I hope I be as happy as you are with yours I'm also getting the bypass for the track days... I love your car (I look just like mine) enjoy it! 63k milles it's nothing...

Thank you for the pictures! I really like the cf hood but I'm sure you are gonna add some more cf in the exterior right? Spoiler? Front lip? Side vents? I was thinking to do the same but now I'm just saving to buy the HRE 40 rims and keep the car original... Maybe a bigger blade in carbon fiber (rear spoiler) Please keep posting pics of whatever you do to your car, I'm very interested. Thank you
