Silver997TT,
I'm ready to trade up to a TT and I'm in the market for an 08. This car is my daily driver so reliability is of huge importance. If I may ask, what made it okay for you to spend good money on a car with 63,000 miles on it? Do you have any advice?

CPO warranty will be the best reason....

I'm not scare about the mileage at all. It's all about how the car was maintained/used/taken care of. Car with low miles doesn't mean it's mechanically better than cars with higher miles. I have seen tons of low mileage cars still have problems while many high mileage cars still run strong with zero problem. I have owned few high mileage cars previously with a great success. So it's from my experience.
Like Leo997TT said, CPO is another reason and it's a big plus.

Maybe a bigger blade in carbon fiber (rear spoiler) Please keep posting pics of whatever you do to your car, I'm very interested. Thank you
Sounds like we made very similar move. And yes, I have a plan to add some more carbon fiber goodies later. I love gt2-rs look.
Sure I will share of my future mods with you and other members.

Actually he had 320000 on it before he rebuilt it. Stock original turbos and clutch and tranny at 320k.. Amazing. It was a 996 TT.

I believe he drove long distances on a daily basis in Montana or one of the western states.. Not a lot of stop and go... Just drive.. Thats why the tranny and clutch were able to last..

What's a lot of milles for a Porsche? My 07 has 45000 miles and it drives like new... My Viper had 30000 and it was more noisy than Latin music...

Congrats on the new ride, it looks awesome and I bet it sounds great too. Im liking the lights and new dry carbon hood, reminds me of the GT2RS. It looks like a fun ride and Im glad your enjoying everything.
Thanks for the feedback and have fun out there

Miles are nothing to be afraid of on 911T. But because so many buyers place disproportionate value on low miles, the market reacts accordingly.

In other words a better question is how much would you pay for half the mileage?

Because you can bet that the OPs car with 30k mi would be *nowhere near* what he paid.

Personally, id rather save the 10 grand and get a really nicely kept higher mileage car and let someone else pay the premium for the garage queen.
