I wish I'd have bought one back in 2010 when this thread was started instead of waiting so long. It seems like I could have owned one pretty reasonably for the last 7 years.

Interesting, decent low mi '07 still in the mid 70s, not the 40s as predicted.
Couple of factors, the air cooled craze was just about to hit in 2010, all boats rise in a flood, the demise of the manual metzger turbo. So far 997.1 6mt turbos are holding their own.

It's hard to even conceive of a good 6mt 997TT hitting the $40s. Just too much car for that.

This just happened as well:

Well I sure wouldn't have predicted that.

There are also two separate guys posting in the classifieds "WTB manual 997.1 turbo". While their price target is pretty low it is another data point in the supply / demand and hence future price discussion.

To be fair, it's not too impossible to find higher mileage .1TTs in the upper $50s/lower $60s.

I picked mine up for $65,500, which was at the very bottom end of what I was finding for 2007 6sp 997.1TT's. Tips can be had in the mid 60's all day, even in the high 50's, like you said. Point being, it's not impossible to find a 6sp in the mid 60's, and mine only had 49k miles. Yes, that is high compared to a lot of these cars, but I don't by any means consider 49k miles to be "high mileage".
