I hope they fixed that key that opens the trunk everytime you put the keys in your pocket.

They fixed it on mine. You really have to press firmly and hold the trunk part of the key to make it open.

Yeah, and if I want to go to a track and have "weight reduction" I'll take it out there. But I would like to have a spare tire for going to and from the track...and or coffee shop

For the tt, anything will be an improvement over current key where trunk opens anytime, anywhere without mercy. Big pain.

Had to finally cover mine with a metal band. Got tired of the dashboard notice always when in traffic.

RC from the other board says the the 997TT won't get the facelift until 2010. Should keep values up.

Would be nice to have the bluetooth, XM, touchscreen, ipod and voice command though.

I had 2006 C2 and 2008 Turbo. The key of the 2008 car doesn't cause trunk to be opened accidentally any more. I believe the buttons are curved differently and the default for timing delay is now longer.

If you have the problem with a pre-2008 key, bring it to the dealer so they could re-program the timing delay. My friend did this and successfully took care of the problem. I am fairly certain you don't have to cover the key with metal band or shave your key buttons to take care of this problem! Hope this helps.

The buttons on the 08 are recessed compared to that on the 07.

Amen! This is by far the most annoying aspect of owning the car.
