Default Squealing noise from engine after heavy rain

My car sat outside during a downpour. I drove it right after the storm passed and a squealing noise came from the engine. Sounded like a belt slipping. Anyone have this happen?

Thanks

Yes, it is normal. It will do it anytime the belt is wet. Mine does it all the time.

Mine does it every time in a downpour, I notice it when sitting in traffic with the clutch depressed much more. Take your foot off the clutch and almost goes away, weird. Mentioned it to the dealer, they had no clue.

That's due to low engine load, the belts are wet, the more torque/rpm you throw at it will create friction/heat and reduce noise and slip.
