Ditto. Jury's still out on the wheels & the front Kermit fog-lights.

Great front & rear improvement though

The best looking new part is the new door handles. I see they showed it with the PCCB's.

in my opinion you guys are never happy. doesnt matter what porsche does you guy always pick on something. i dont know if its because you genuinly dont like it or maybe you cant afford it and you are jealous i just dont know. i think it looks better then the one before it and im sure the next turbo will look better than this one. porsche has been very good at predicting good styling before its time. so i guess time will tell. and im sure its goes as fast as it looks.

I have not been keeping up with the tt evolution, as I have been very content with my 930, purchased new in 1989. Lately, however, I've got a bug to buy a more modern version. For the last 3-4 months I was looking at the late model 996tt cars (used) but decided to go with new. I had my heart set on a new 996tt but there aren't any more. Then, Porsche comes out with the new version, 997tt. At first, I didn't really like the styling changes, but the more I look at it, the better I like it. Including the wheels. Of course, its all a matter of opinion, and maybe they could've done better in some regards. Still, I am looking forward to mine (order time around April-May)

It really is just a matter of taste. No car is going to please everyone, it's just not going to happen.

I personally don't like the fog laps, and the Boxster type turbo vents - can anyone say aftermarket?

However, the car is so stunningly fast, while continuing to be a practical supercar, it's just so easy to overlook any cosmetics you don't like.

If I'm not mistaken the car is faster than the CGT 0-60... that's really impressive. Can't wait to go for a test drive.

Peace,
Rob

I like the wheels, forged OEM by BBS. What's not to like, way better than most of the aftermarket stuff IMO.
