Best thread. So troll.

Thank god I sold all those 997 GT3s, RS' and a GT2. They're all done for now.

I'm so glad the 991.1 RS was the best thing ever. Car helped me win DEs and C&Cs.

But now I just want to have fun. And these 997 GTx's were fun. Glad to know I'll be able to trade my used Audi S3 DD for one of these with the launch of the 991.2 GT3 soon! Thanks!

Did anyone on here hear? Porsche brought the manual in the GT3! May want to wait a little before buying a 997 GT3, the prices will probably dip somewhat.

I haven't seen a picture of an actual 991 GT3 manual yet, and if you try to build it on their website, there is no option for a manual. That said, R&T is quite reputable

Probably won't be as dramatic as they way the 996 devalued those 993's

So your advice to others is to wait to buy a 997 GT3, while your own money is on a 997 Turbo. Wow, thanks for that truly inspiring insight.

No I'm foreseeing different outcomes based on varying circumstances, providing respective alternatives.
(_ t _ _ t _ g y).

Another way to look at it is: 997 GT3s might as well be just used cars now (exaggeration). If you want one for the sake of wanting one, wait till the prices dip because it's unlikely the prices ever increase to the stratosphere due to limitedness based discontinuance of an essential feature (like air-cooled engines). The Turbos on the other hand: only 2000 997.2 Turbo (non-S) were ever made worldwide, and I'd imagine less than 50% are manual... while its not mezger engine, being liberal there's only roughly 1000 911 Turbos in the world, in their final interaction with a manual.

So, to put this in perspective for you boys, buy 997 GT3 once the prices dip in a few months or a year, and drive the hell out of it.
If you want to buy an appreciating asset, go for a 2010-12 Turbo Coupe with a 6-speed and a nice spec.

While I've definitely played into the "trolling," I still stand by my initial notions. Peace.

A fair response on your part would be: look at the value of 964s.

A fair response on my part would be:

If you are truly a Porsche hedger and if you truly believe your own thread title, your money should be on short selling 997 GT3's. The rest is indeed trolling.
