Default Ceramics with 18" wheels - cooling issues?

Quick question has anyone here run 18 inch wheels with ceramic brakes on the track?.

I'm fairly new at it and only go 4-5 times a year - so I don't think I'm too hard on them.

Anyone know of any cooling issues since the wheels are that much closer, thus not as much room for air to circulate.

I run 18" wheels with my ceramics on the track. No issues whatsoever.

Firstly do you think you are having issues with brake temps?

I would think any problem has a lot to do with the wheels themselves, but overall your ducts should be directing air onto your rotors so then its whether or not the wheels encourage air flow or impede it.

I run BBS E88's and HRE's both in 18" and neither has produced heating issues on my ceramics

No I don't think I'm having problems, and just changed out the pads at 56K miles and they had 60% life left in them after multiple track days.

I'm just cautious about this stuff, that's all.

Thanks
