Default Feedback on the surface of my PCCB rotors

This is the front rotor finish. Rear finish looks near perfect. My mechanic says the front rotor condition is due to "stop and go use versus track use". Not sure how he came to that conclusion or if that's valid. I would basically would like to know how much life is in them.

Thanks!

They look fairly worn but not nearing the end of their life. How many miles do you have on them? Any track use?

Looks fair, when it starts to have patches look at changing them.

you can see it on my fronts when I pulled them!

Can you post a picture further back with pictures of the 3 circle wear indicators?

The best way to know if pccb are done is by Weight. There should be a minimum weight stamped into the hat. When you fall below that number start looking for a replacement and cease excess use in harsh conditions until they are changed

Sorry the OP.

this thread has good pics:

When those 3 circles are 'rough' you are done with the rotors. The 991 rotors need to be inspected with a tool that measures the density of the rotor. No other way/visual to tell.
