Question Anyone one w turn down tips to borrow/rent?

Hey folks, I'll be doing a DE event this month at Laguna Seca on Feb 25-26 and need to borrow (willing to pay a fee to rent as well) a set of turn down tips. Would rather not have to buy a set for one weekend. So any leads would be appreciated

Thanks!

I'm hoping keeping the flaps closed + turn down tips should be enough...

I built these last year with Moroso pipes and ran 87 db, I ran 3rd or 4th gear up the hill all day and never got meatballed... They're a bit heavy, but work great!

That's insane what you guys in Cali have to put up with. Total Cali BS.
It is a race track for God's sake.
Just curious, when pro series race there do they impose this dB requirements?

^ there are a handful of days were it is UNLIMITED sound.
basically you pay up for those days.
so $$$$ that only pro races are on those days.

I looked into running those spirals at Laguna but couldn't find any data on them. Had to resort to YouTube for sound, but from what I've heard they sound pretty loud? Did you happen to get any readings?

Yeah it fking blows. Its like an airport. Like SNA in orange county. It was there LONg before the houses... same with Laguna. But, you know who elects the monkeys in office....

but, thunder hill, button willow, spring mountain, chuckwalla, willow springs... they don't have limits or its 103db or higher.

Alekshop sells sells a gps module that automatically closes the exhaust valves prior to the sound booth and opens the valves past the sound booth. That should allow you to pass. I've run at Laguna 2x with a gmg bypass and manually opened/closed the valves with my carnewal remote and I had no issues with sound at laguna. The gps module automates this procedure.
