It makes no sense at all to spend $55k to upgrade to RS so that's why you have to do it. 😃😃👍👍

Once you got the itch, it will never go away.

Thoughts?
it's not WORTH the premium
but it is an RS
it's not a linear nor a logical answer.
my wife was never my fav gf
and i never wanted my fav gf to be my wife
it's the same logic

.1RS is worth the premium. Why? RS. Wide *** and looks really.
Sure, .2 gets a bit more. 991RS a lot more. And more. And more.

That said, if you drive the 2 cars, now knowing which is RS and which is GT3...
All the 997 are honestly pretty close. You feel it in the .2RS due to the gearing, that's the MAIN difference. My car will keep pace with the .2 cars, but gearing on the .2RS gets advantage around here.

but, this isn't about reality is it? Same reason an RS America is 2x the price of a C2, and you know what, they're the same damn car except badge, wing, and cloth seats.

BUT, the BIGGEST difference in non vs RS. The 991.
I do not like the 991GT3.
The 991RS. Fk. An. A.

BEAST. Drove one on track the other day and couldn't wipe the **** eating grin off my face for a day.

But, hopped back in mine and it was like sliding into those well worn italian shoes, comfortable, exactly as you know it, just right.

Your example of the RSA truly rang clear for me.

I think I just keep trying to convince myself my standard .1 is the same but in reality I have serious RS envy. Just wish I paid the premium almost 5 years ago vs today...

everybody needs to decide how to make themselves happy and feel special

sometimes it is real performance, sometimes it is more preformance than the next guy, some times it is an image of performance, sometimes it is just an image, sometimes it is just a couple stenciled letters on a decklid

and for any of the above, how much $$ to spend to get it and feel good about it

best we can do is be honest what it is we want to be happy and how much we are willing to spend to get that good feeling without the 'i pissed away too much good money and i am a chump' bad feeling
