Default Porsche Blasphemy? My GT3 Widebody Scud (KILLER photos!)

This car is now for sale:

This car is not for everybody. I understand that.

Here's the story. I've had my widebody 997 GT3 for almost 10 years now. I love it, but I wanted to get something different. I've always wanted a Ferrari 430 Scuderia, but could not stand to part ways with my GT3. So my solution......wrap and paint.

I took it to Louis Timmerman at Sunsational Tint & Wrap in Charlotte. His shop did all the work and took care of all the details. Full body color change wrap, wheel lips painted satin black, painted cage, seat belt swap, gloss black accents...etc. He even put on 2 coats of Ceramic Pro to finish it off.

Following are photos taken by an extremely talented photographer, Mike Kuhn this past weekend. If you folks like these shots, I have a lot more I can post.

Dan

Looks great! Not over the top, just right.

Sheet metal or fiberglass? I think this would effect resale later as fiberglass resins can shrink over time, leave some anomalies. If done with epoxies I do not suffer from shrinkage.

Saw Mike's pics of the car and some others of the car at the Eurowise meet. I think the car is stunning. Beautiful job.

Thank you for the compliments.

Actually the widebody is a custom one off made of metal. The fender flares were actually harvested off a E46 M3 and then welded on and refinished. The carbon fiber front hood and side skirts are Gemballa. The carbon fiber rear decklid and wing is Porsche Motorsports.

The car's original color is Meteor Grey Metallic, however it was never in Seattle. It was just in Charlotte NC for a few months, then down here in Columbia, SC for the past several years.

Amazing! If the fenders were sheet metal how did you continue the wide fenders on the front and rear bumper covers since those are plastic composite? This is a super clean unique wide body. Glorious.

Your car looks SPECTACULAR! I'd be brimming with pride driving around in it. Very classy yet aggressive.

Well done!
