GT3 Front lip repair
Hey guys,
I scuffed my front lip pretty good pulling into a friends driveway yesterday. Has anyone tried wet sanding theirs to get the scuff marks out? Any other tricks I should know of? I know I can just order a new one, but I don't what to have to shell out nearly $400 every time i scrape on something.
Thanks!

I paint mine every so often with matte black bumper paint. When it gets really chowdered I replace it.

How bad is the scuff? I just take a razor blade to the bottom of the lip to get rid of the hanging scuffs as needed unless it gets really bad. The razor works like a charm to making it look perfect again and its free (minus the blade).

The app always gives me an error when I try to upload stuff from my phone or I would post a picture.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions guys.
Andrew, I should have specified I have a mk2.
Mine now has scuffs up the front, so trimming the bottom won't cut it this time.
The cup splitter looks great, but it may be too low. I am already having issues with the standard splitter. And now they are nearly the same price. Maybe I'll give it a try though.

Just an update. I wet sanded the scuffs mostly out minus the really deep ones. Its much less obvious which is what I was going for. Its discolored where I sanded it, but once I treat the splitter with a tire shine its hardly even noticeable. If it keeps drying out and reappearing I may go the plastic dip route or comparable. I'll order a new one eventually, but in the mean time will keep beating this one up as was previously suggested. Prior to the sanding, it was such an eye sore I couldn't stand to look at it.
