i am confused with your question.
what car you have and what seat you have in it?
i THINK you are asking if 997.2 bucket seat triggr airbag light?
and if driver and passenger side buckle are same?
if so.

for 997.2 gT3/RS cars (i would think all 997 are similar), the driver and passenger female buckle are NOT the same, but can be used interchangeably. i use passenger female receptacle on both sides b/c it's slightly longer.

usually piwis or durametric will kill of airbag light for good. but yours sound intermittent. i would guess that some wire is messed up on the receptacle

Yeah. You nailed it. 997.2 C4S with the GT2 Sport Buckets. Looks like I need a new seatbelt receptacle, or I need to fiddle around with the wires. Does anything unplug from the receptacle itself? Or is it all at the end of the wire? It seems my problem is in the wire connector within the receptacle.

Good to know they're supposed to be different passenger to driver, but also good to know they're interchangeable.

i think best bet is just get new receptacle, i wouldn't advise taking the buckle apart.
