Hello, from a new 997.1 GT3 owner. I have been enjoying reading the forum for a while, and have a number of friends that post on this forum. Though I'm not new to the Porsche ownership world, regularly peddling a superb 968CS, and also until recently a 996 GT2, which I sold to make way for the GT3. Anyway, having enjoyed your posts and pics including video's, here a little one of mine at Bathurst in Australia recently. Ignore the video title typo..its a 997.1. That is MODOZ in front...no I can't catch him! From 4m 00 in is some fun in traffic too.

Thanks. It's a carbon cup wing painted to match the car and then I had custom wing ends made. Worked out well.

Looks like fun. Great way to introduce yourself to the car. Bet you were hoping the guy just after T1 didn't move to the right as you were slipping past.

Whenever I see Bathurst I always remember that Sunday each year in my pyjamas watching the SLR5000/A9X Toranas screaming around. Never managed to get to a race let alone drive the track and now even less likely as I'm not in the country any more.

Great looking car MC and some excellent driving. Tho @ 5:15 made me do a double take! LOL

That track has more walls than Monaco!

I see one of those pesky 991 GT3's with PDK out there having no fun. Driver must have been eating a burger and drinking a coffee while it drove itself... not.

What an absolutely gorgeous track. Loved the scenery as it flowed past the car, and just amazed at how long the track is. All those walls would scare me out of running at anything other than a tepid rookie pace! You drive well too.

I have watched the video several times and will do so again.

all the best...

Thanks it's an amazing circuit and the car just loves it. thr view is awesome. What doesn't come across in a video is elevation change. It's a massive mountain climb and a lot of fun.
