Default New GT4 Pure Race Track Version

Anyone know what Porsche has up its sleeve with the GT4? They announced a new pure race track version coming later this year. Confused if they mean a GT4 Cup or a GT4 RS? Any thoughts?

Could care less for a cup but an RS would be awesome

They mean Cup.
There will be no RS street version of GT4 as the GT4 is already the RS of Caymans IMO

Mooty, you know there will be a series requirement. You will have to buy one used.

Just drive your R for a couple years and then send to BGB for engine swap. Will bring you as much joy. Though it won't be Cup white.

Odd...just saw Preuninger quoted hinting Porsche may build a GT4 RS based on the HUGE demand for the current car. Oh please drop the full power kit motor (430 HP) and a PDKS into this car!

I'll take the bigger motor but would still want the 6speed.

How about a nutcase 3.4L drysump 9500 RPM engine to go with that 6 speed? I will buy that without even blinking. The 3.4L would rev like a madman, the higher the displacement the slower the pistons will move with their added "stress" (learned that yesterday).

I'd likely sell my GT3 to "upgrade" to a Cayman GT4 RS _if_ it comes with PDK-S. The tranny was the only reason I passed on the GT4. I'm likely to never buy a street car again w/o the PDK-S tranny.
