997 GT3 Build Thread
Some of my parts have started to come in so I thought it would be a good time to start a build thread. Started installation this afternoon.
RSS Suspension components
JRZ RS Pro Coilovers
DPE started cutting the wheels today. So hopefully only 3 more weeks to wait on those. It took a lot of measuring and double checking of things to get the proper offsets/sizing for the new wheels. Will be running 19x11 front and 19x13 in the rear. These will be for the street. I will have another set for the track.
In two weeks it will be off to my body guy to get started on working on the body panels and painting of the car. While the body is there the interior will be out for some adjustments also.
After tuning the car we gained 35whp throughout the curve. I was pretty happy with those results. I think there is some more fine tuning that can be done. So we will do a little more data logging and slight tweaks.
Will try to keep the thread updated.

Is this the LB Works car? Glad to hear your getting things sorted out.

Check his other thread for full extent of details (seems like OP wants to keep that thread's contents in that thread) but the vehicle he purchased came with a widebody kit installed, hence the aggressive wheel aims.
Those new suspension parts look fantastic. Good luck with the continuing project iapgt3!

That is the size that we went with due to the widebody. This car will see plenty of street time, some track and local car meets/shows. I think it is going to be a lot of fun.
Not an LB Works car, but a similar kit. I have another thread that has more info on the car. But trying to keep the drama in that thread and this one just about the rebirth of the car.
Thanks LateBraking!!!!
I sent you a PM with my reviews of the exhaust. To sum it up, yes I love the sound and will be keeping it on

You are correct. That's why I posted above that we took a lot of time pulling measurements, double checking suspension and things to ensure the proper set up. We worked with DPE for over 2 weeks getting the offsets right.

And just add the rsr/style compression links and you'll be mostly full monball.

May need to move the side radiators forward a bit for scrub radius clearance. Most that have gone to 19x10 275 in the front have had to move them forward a bit or you can turn lock to lock...
Fun thread!
