can't find the posts i've seen on this previously or i would copy them in. the numbers that were stated were 185 2008 and 20 2009 997 GT2s imported to N.A., and i believe a total of approximately 600 for ROW (rest of world). Don't quote me - just trying to pass on what was shared here and on 6Speed

My numbers are closer to Mathy's. This is def a 1,000+ run car in any case:

07 | 16
08 | 939
09 | 287
Total | 1,242

Found the #1261 coming by a few times on RL while researching GT2's, can't quote the sources I'm afraid.
Seems realistic, 1250ish.

The CGT isn't THAT rare. The 6-2 and the 6RS of that era were both produced in smaller numbers...

Not sure how many 6.2 were made but 6RS is 682 I believe?

According to Nick Wong
2008 supposedly 185 units. 2009 supposedly 20 units. Multiples of both have been written off over the last five, six years. Most of them are NOT in enthusiasts' hands, most seem to be in collections hidden away. There are probably 1/2 of all US production out and about, but that really only means about 2 cars in every state on average, much much lower than any of the GT3 variants. The 2009 GT2 is a virtual unicorn in the USA, they are out there but you may have an easier time finding MSRP on a Speciale.

Hi TB993tt,

yes, thats correct, I would however appreciate if you would take out the names from your last post please...

With regards to the numbers, I have to correct myself a bit, yes, 1261 is still correct, but this includes prototypes etc, so it seems the previously mentioend 1242 is the correct number - at least for "delivered Customer cars".

Thanks for editing your last post.
