Difference between turbo S and GT2/GT3 RS suspension
I was wondering what is the difference between the 997.2 turbo s and the 997.2 GT2 RS? Maybe even throw in the GT3 RS in there as well.
What does porsche do extra to these 2 cars to get them to perform so well?

The difference is huge. They don't have much in common at all. Starting with shocks/springs vs coilovers, solid rear subframe, adjustable LCAs, PASM programming to name a few. The list is very long. Turbo suspension is not that good actually. You have to spend some serious coin to make it handle well and part of the problem is that the car is quite heavy. BTW, the GT2RS suspension is actually a bit rough IMO. The GT2 is way better.

I was wondering like are some parts spherical bearings on the RS while on the turbo they are rubber? I know the obvious shocks, springs, etc... But I am talking the nitty gritty. Control arms, uprights, bushings. More details.

Like others said, the difference is huge. On top of the parts already listed the AWD uprights are paired with specific top mounts for ~10 degrees of negative castor in order to accommodate the front drive axles. Whereas the 2WD cars run ~6 degrees of positive castor.

Where does a GT2 RS use spherical bearing compared to a turbo s? What would need to be done to get a turbo s to handle close to a GT2 RS? I'm sure some suspension components and interchangeable between the 2.

The first problem with the turbo S is AWD and the second one is that it weighs 500 lbs more than a GT2RS. Those two things will be very difficult to correct in order to get the handling you're looking for. Have you driven a GT2RS?

Nope. But I wanted to put whatever interchangeable parts on my car. Doesn't the GT2 RS use spherical bearing in places rather than rubber? Still no one is answering this question.

Sorry Bernie, I meant the angle of the front shock not the angle of the imaginary line from ball joint to strut tower. On the AWD the bottom of the shock is behind the centerline of the axle so by definition, or at least by my definition the shock angle is negative.
