Default Coolant bleeder

Is it this black thing on the top of the reservoir?

How do I open the valve?

Any other bleed points in the system?

And if that it the bleed and If the silver tab indicates the bleeder is open - well it's been open since I've had car serviced so that is likely the culprit of my problem

you pull the metal bracket thing on top so it's standing on end to bleed it (plastic part in middle extends, flat part of paper clip thing ends on top, little round paper clip feet on bottom)

The way in the pics is closed

Also pressure is still building in reservoir with bleeder open (tab facing up)

Ie when I open cap after having bleeder open pressure still comes out

Mine is vertical since the last coolant change. Sounds like I need to flip it down flat to close?

It seems like mine isn't doing anything when flipped up anyway - pressure does build in the reservoir

audipwr1, just curious what makes you think you have a problem that requires bleeding of your cooling system.
