The 959 needs wider wheels to fill the arches better. Looks like spare tire sized rims although decent looking spare tire rims. Mike

I was never a 959 guy.
You would have to been a 911 guy pre-959 to really like them and understand the significance.

4.0L PTS in that color blue. Crazy to sell it but then again he probably got crazy profit from it too.

I would have kept it.

959 looks like a kit car in pictures but in real life it's stunning. I saw a silver one in Germany at the museum in 1996 and can still remember the butterflies I felt looking at it. Wish someone would put wide wheels on it to fill out the arches like the race 959's.
