^ Makes sense, even if the layout (center muffler plus two sides) appears similar in press photos to-date.
But until folks have taken delivery and qualified tuners have had a go at the actual plumbing, we're all talking hot air here (incl. myself).

Porsche is all about making money and it is not unreasonable to assume that the 997 system will bolt right up to the 991 GT3 engine. They don't change something unless they have to.
That said, we won't know for sure until these cars hit the streets.

Center muffler is the same as the one used on the 997.II. Parts-numbers are the same...
Side-Mufflers have different numbers then the ones used on the 7.GT3 but still start with the number 997! So I expect only minor changes...
