Interesting read. I have to say that for the weekend "away from civilization" fun runs that I enjoy, my automotive preferences remain with the less complex and more involving older stuff.
IMO raw speed and computer assisted handling prowess aren't everything. The older but significant cars (not just Porsches, BTW....) just feel significantly more "alive" when I am behind the wheel. Those cars are where my automotive love - as opposed to "like a lot" - exists.

It is indeed a very good essay. I read it with interest and with a curiosity that will be furthered. To understand, I rarely read because I like a few books, articles, essays. I focus more on the quality of what is written. But unfortunately, I could never write such a thing, as long as I did not bother. I do not have the talent of a writer, I am really sorry about that. Even in school, I could not write essays, which is why I am always writing help on the Internet. I know this is not very good, but I had no choice.
