Default Owners or knowers of 4.0's, worth a read....

Good morning. I don't spend much time on this or the other forums, but some of you may know me as a very avid collector of 997 RS and GT cars. I am looking to acquire another 4.0 for my collection, that must be either black or PTS.

As the saying goes, "this ain't my first rodeo", meaning I know the market well for these cars and am prepared to pay accordingly for the right one.

If anyone is interested in discussing theirs, or perhaps knows of someone that might be, please contact me directly at either:

michaelkelter1@mac.com or call me at 248-388-1188.

Thanks all,

Michael

Interesting that on cars.com there are 4 GT2RS and not one single 4.0.

There actually is a 4.0 on cars.com, but it's white (it's Peter's car, a great one, I just don't want white).

Hey Michael,
I'm very interested to see pics of your entire collection.

mee too!
I always like to see people who are serious about their cars build up inventory.

Each collection is different from the next.

I think its a well known secret that I am willing to let mine go for 275K. That would allow me to get into a cgt and that is really my only motivation. The car is used for commute only and is bone stock with little over 6K miles.

I think the 4.0 would be better for commute...the CGT is a pain to get in and out of plus the clutch is a little bit tricky. That said, the CGT is the ultimate car.
