Default CA Festival of Speed Photos

Day one of three was short on spectators, but not on GT3 race cars!

No shortage of failures.

And no shortage of winners (Loren Beggs wins in the Gold class).

No shortage of 4.OH!

And no shortage of GT3 street cars.

This particular car has a 4.0. Wolf in sheep's clothing.

No shortage of action.

And no shortage of truth.

Thanks for the pics. Looks like West Coast track guys use 19" wheels and us east coast Florida guys prefer 18".

Mike, good observation and the North East also follows the same 18" trend. Must be a barometric pressure thing?

I had two sets of Forgelines for sale a set of 18" and a set of 19". Sold the 18's rather quickly and still have the 19's.

Any more pix of that mean-looking older blue 911? The one with the intake roof scoop...

Dan Davis' car. Older 911 chassis with a water cooled engine. Big intercooler...Bigger than that!

I believe in a previous life it used to belong to Alain Jamar, former editor of POC's Velocity Magazine.

Yes, Fontana, California Speedway. Was there on Friday, not too many people but probably more with show up today. Lots of GT3's as can be seen by photos.

The black 4.0 looked so good, I had to snap a few more pics.

This trio looking pretty together.

Some more race car action.

Roots.

Cayennes that get taken off the pavement - what?!

Looking pretty in blue.

Seriously though, thanks for posting all these pix, they're awesome! How was day 2? I hope you add more pix of the rest of the event!
