This would be the perfect weekend warrior for sure. So for those of us without $50K plus sitting in the bank does anyone know if a bank will finance a salvaged car?

PenFed will finance 50% of the NADA value for a salvage history vehicle (vs. 100% of NADA value for normal cars).

The beauty of this car is that you can run it hard and if you have an oopsie, just rebuild and nothing is lost. Not so with a pristine car Dave

Guys, thank you very much for all the interest. The car is on "hold" at the ask price pending a mechanical check. Please let me know if you want to be next in line if something falls through. I guess the price is right.
