Wink

That's perfect. I really like the look of the GT3 Cup wheel but am worried the dish may be too deep. I am a bit of a knuckle dragger.

Thanks guys. After talking to my shop I'm gonna go with the Rothsport hub and the factory 997Cup quick release. It's not cheap but using a factory Porsche race proven part gives me the warm and fuzzy..

My only reason for "rice" was wanting a cordless horn button and quick release wheel

I was not aware of another solution that allowed me to keep my horn without phone cords wrapped around steering column or a remote mounted horn button

Understood. Lol! That was my dilemma also but after thinking about it, we have the coiled cord in our spec boxsters and it's a non event. When driving I'm not even aware it's there. I'm sure the Jap stuff is good quality but it just seems a bit too complex and a bit of an unknown to me. But what do I know?

I use the NRG and Bell Rapfix II on my OMP cup wheel.

Horn function works perfect.

Coil cord sucks in street car. It can get tangled up in my dog's legs

I have the Rennline Hub and OMP adjustable extender. Someone else mentioned this from much earlier in the thread but the smaller radius of the Cup wheel does affect (increase) the input force required to turn the wheel. I love this but some have told me they were not prepared for that. I also tapped some of the steering modules to add various functions to the wheel. All of this connects to the wheel via a curly cord.

Here's a pic from my phone and there's a thread detailing how I added the button functionality in the 997 forum if you're interested.

Edit: Had a couple requests for the link to the button thread:
