Default 2008 GT2 Pricing

Hey everyone,

With so few cars made, I'm having difficulty getting a feel for the current market. I have a 2008 GT2 that I might sell. It is silver with approximately 3,500 miles. It has never been tracked. I don't really want to take it to a dealer without knowing the current market pricing.

Thanks for the help.

Gabe

why are you unloading it, i know there is likely nothing wrong with it but i constantly see GT2s with low miles for sale. i am wondering why this is a recurring theme.

Having scared myself a few times when the turbos hit, I can see how it would be a handful on the track.

In this case, I would blame my short attention span when it comes to cars. Hate to say it for fear of the abuse, but thinking of going Italian.

List 125
Take first offer over 120

List over 130 and it will be a long listing waiting for the "right" buyer

Unfortunately the GT2 is a great buy, not that much of a great sell. I would LOVE to get one some day.

Good luck.

The GT2 is a great car, standard PCCB, standard Carbon seats, and lots of torque. The market in U.S. has been unfair to the 996 and 997 GT2.

The best information is to get the trade-in value at a dealer, and check auction prices, add 10% to trade-in or auction prices, and that gives you a ballpark of the current market value.

I have found them as low as $105k and as high as $135k in recent months. Your car is pristine (low miles) and a nice color too, I agree with PJ, ask $125k and settle for $120k.

Way overpriced. Perhaps $130k region if you ask me. PTS would increase value a little, but if it's a standard red... 700 miles is even worse than my car when I got it, low mileage is for bubble wrappers, GT2s are to be driven since they depreciate so much.

Park Place Porsche in Dallas sold an almost identical car (same mileage and color) for $118 this spring. Not sure if it was CPO'd or not.

$120k is what I was thinking too. Cars listed for $130k+ have been listed for a long long time.

Happy New Year everyone.

I still have the car as I have been very busy and haven't decided what to do with it yet. I haven't logged on for quite some time, so I thought I would finally upload a few pictures of my car. Its a few months late, but thank you for the feedback regarding values.
