Default Rolling Fenders question?

Absolutely no experience with rolling fenders. Exploring the option, as I would like to fit RS tire sizes on my NB GT3.

Anyone have experience with rolling fenders on a 997?

Ive done it to other p-cars....shouldn't be too different on a 997. Used a baseball bat and went real slow with some heat. Risky due to potential paint crack....may not be worth it, but doable.

There are also specific tools designed for rolling fenders you may be able to locate/borrow/rent: http://www.streetfire.net/video/fender-rolling-101_104960.htm

I know the process, but I guess I wasn't specific.

Just wanted to see if anyone had first hand experience with rolling fenders on 997.

NJ-GT is the master of rolled fenders.

He most likey knows what size tire you could fit under the narrow body once rolled.

He jammed 345s under my last RS no sweat.

So you saved 3 pounds taking out the tool kit and carpet. Not impressed till you touch the interior and AC.
