I have something like this on my GTS now.....comes out of the headers and it X's at the rear and into 2 small cup car like mullers to the tips. With the ECU tune you got from Eddie you might free up some power in the upper end.
ECU tune from Eddie, you didn't tell us about that cheater TSB did you Dawg.

I did talk to Bob. He said they could fab something up.

Is that how the stock exhaust is on the GTS or did you change it?

Didn't you get the TSB on that one? It fixes the sticky drive by wire throttle lag

Drums is obsessed with my tune. He seems to think it added 100hp I think it's good for 10hp at best, and on a 400hp car it's pretty much negligible. I can't feel the difference anyway. However, it seemed like something fun to do at the time and I like doing business with the Filthy Brazillian and his partner

That was easily the worst droning exhaust on the planet.

Changed it.....is was much like stock GT3 with 2 side mufflers and ceneter muffler. I went with a system from FVD (M&M Exhaust). It drones so I'll see if I can live with it on the street. It's nice at the track though...above 4500rpm it is actually quieter than below 4000rpm! LOL

When did you switch it?

The side muffler delete that Nick did was awful. The droning was so bad I contemplated taking a handful of pills and ending it all vs 5 more minutes in his car

If the side mufflers weigh 18 kilos vs the center weighing 8 kilos, why don't more people keep the stock center muffler and just go with a side muffler delete product? There's more weight savings there and the side muffler delete products (ie fabspeed) are not expensive.

Does it just sound like crap or something?
We put the Fabspeed on my car but there is a problem with the RS's due to the titanium center muffler. Eventually, it will form a crack in the muffler and will need to be replaced. On my car, it went through the second one in one track day at Sebring. As for the GT3, you should be ok and handling will be improved due to removing weight out of the rear behind the wheels. As for sound, it depends on your tolerance and if your car is a daily driver.

It does but I have had cars that were way worse. I thought the car was fine until you really get on it. If it is your daily driver, you may not want to do it or wait until you can ride in someone's car to see for yourself. I can honestly tell you that I thought the car would be much louder when I got it done but I don't mind loud and don't drive the car much other than DE's.

Akrapovic makes a system expressly for this purpose. Drops 46lbs off the butt but it's not cheap.

Videos would be great as well. I've been very close to pulling the trigger on this system but there hasn't been enough information out there to date and Akrapovic's website is not much help. Look forward to real user experience.

You all think so one dimensionally... There are some alternatives that are cool and cheap (sort of). Think Inconel... More to come BTW, titanium is last years metal.
