Granted I was the first two years ago and was given two different rear sections in the deal. The other center section will go on now with the "little" new project in development.

Ranger (Sua Sponte)
this honestly does seem to be one of the better ideas

although this is hard to beat if your looking to retain the factory headers from what I can see

@57lbs loss in weight and peak of 22hp gain with a tune it does seem to be a good candidate

in addition after some research I noticed another great example of the cup style exhaust.

it would seem that these euro pipe exhausts are very good price.
$625USD cup style track pipe with presilencer bypass that retains final muffler

http://www.europipe.be/exhausts.html

info: Loud track exhaust:
•replaces the side mufflers and center muffler
•same hp as stock
•saves 25.5 kg / 56 Lbs on a Mk1, a Mk1 RS and a Mk2
•saves 22 kg / 48.5 Lbs on a Mk2 RS

•accepts the stock tailpipes
•for race track use only
•price: 480 Euro + sales tax / 625 USD

amazing europipe

here is another version dynod (europipe track setup) @ 3000rpm this thing gets busy and its no looking back
and see the price of this europipe race exhaust too??/ damn

This setup replaces both center and side exhausts for a completely wide open exhaust system if I'm reading this right.

I think they have two different ones.

yes, for the $625 version it is indeed a wide open stright pipe design. no gains. Weight loss and huge sound addition. Low end loss like any with no air scavenging side pipes. Less backpressure less low end power. I was interested in the price and this info here

Does anyone know the Db levels from using the stock headers/cats + elbow pipes + stock center muffler?

Will that work for all these Canadian tracks with noise restrictions?

Less dB then just a sharky center bypass, but it will be border line at Tremblant. Looks like we are good at the other 2 tracks. The sound is louder and more booming then OEM at low RPM (That is why I would prefer Sharky for street driving), but I think the same as OEM with sport button over 4K RPM.
