Targa Newfoundland 2011 Race Car Rental interest?
I will be competiting again this year in the Targa Newfoundland 2011.
It is the 10th anniversary of the event and my 3rd year campaining a GT3RS.
I recently aquired a 993 C4S from a fellow competitor and good friend. Inorder to wrangle the 993 from his collection i also had to take his 1999 MUSTANG COBRA TARGA RACER as part of the deal.
As result, im now offering this Mustang as "Arrive n Drive" rental package to anybody here interested in competiting in the Targa Newfoundland 2011 as im aware fellow GT3 owners tend to enjoy motorsports....
Includes:
-Fully prepared Mustang with spares for 7 days. (training day, prologue day, 5 competition days)
-My support crew. (truck n trailer, mechanic)
-Hotels on the road for 4 nights (hotels before and after event are responsibilty of renter)
-Entry fee
Price: $15000.00 CDN plus 13% provincial sales tax.

1999 SEAN HYLAND BUILT FORD MUSTANG COBRA R CLONE.
Competitive.
Well engineered.
Show Quality fit and finish.
This Mustang has been extensively prepared for racing with previous Targa Newfoundland history including a best 2nd place finish in class and two 3rd place finishes in class.
Car has only one race on the current engine, transmission, brakes, tires and suspension set-up. It is still fresh and ready for another event.

Full fire suppression system
Quick release steering wheel
Moton Suspension
Steeda Adjustable Camber Castor plates and control arms etc.

Targa Newfoundland is one of the few opportunities for an enthusiast racer to do a proper multi-day tarmac rally in North America. If I had the resources I would do this in a heartbeat! The torquey 'Stang would also be fun to drive.

Just followed up on this car.
Sean Hyland has detuned this car to 400hp on 91 octane pump fuel for targa ( as opposed to 470 on 94).
This is one of Sean's famous 4.6 cobras bored and sleeved to 5.0L. Very high end build.
Car is currently at his shop.
Anybody interested in renting this car?
