2010 SF International Auto Show role-call
The 2010 San Francisco International Auto Show is starting on the 20th of November, just a few days away. Since the largest contingent of Porsche folks are in this area I was wondering who was going and when.
I will probably be going on the 20th but can make other arrangements if anyone wants to crash the party. Who's in?

20th, baby sitting
then in laws sitting....
there's nothing good at SF auto show. you want to fly to LA.
then you see some real cars.

I've spent the past years going to the LA show. Better half was talking about going to that one instead just to have an excuse to visit family. Who knows if that will happen now?

Damn, I stimbled on this thread looking for something else.
Why in the hell does Porsche even Bother bringing cars to the SF Show? I remember they had one person there and no car catalogs. Good thing I will be going to LA this year.
Hope this year they unvail the GT3 RS at LA. It will be there or Geneva, but I think by the time Geneva comes around again Porsche hopefully would have officially announced the next RS.

Dude, I stimbled.... durr...
GTS eh, comes standard with the power kit and hopefully an option for a manual transmission - that would be nice. I know a lot of folks would come out of the wood work for a Manual trans GTS but I think now that is too much for Porsche these days. I mean hell man its not a GT3 where Porsche would want the car's technology to keep up with the competition on the track since all it's competitor's have flappy paddles.
As for going to the LA Autoshow I dunno which day I will be going. Last time I took my ex and I didn't get to take too much time like I would have. I did however spend a good 90 minutes with Porsche Exclusive in the back designing a car. Also hopefully the new Porsche Exclusive guy will be on hand and I will finally meet him. What is his name again Mathew something - I want to say Henry.
Also I dunno if it's true or not but Porsche is going to give the next 911 the designation 992. Who knows?

I'll be going down on Friday 21st, if you or any other RLer's want to join.
