Unless we plan on moving out of the southeast, we're stuck with craig the regional. Everything is going through him now that isn't a run of the mill repair. This guy is all over the service departments and is not approving anything anymore. Not sure if its an issue with him, or if he's getting his marching order from PCNA. Supposedly he has to personally approve everything (obviously not day to day stuff) and they're sending him to the dealers to inspect and investigate before they authorize. He's a ball breaker for sure.

What kind of adhesive would be best to repair this? The Porsche factory just used red locktite, however there MUST be a good epoxy solution. Any thoughts?

Entering Bus Stop after back straight on warm up lap
Passenger side hose underneath car next to gear box. Retainer clip not fully seated and the hose just slid out. Believe problem caused by clip being knocked sideways during RMS repair.

the regional's job is to just say no. he works for PCNA you are not his customer. You are the dealer customer and they can only make the case to the regional. Once the regional guy gets any information he can use to deny the claim you in a bad place.

Andrew, sorry to hear about such a **** situation with the regional guy; that blows. Since he quotes the OM, its interesting how the tone has changed from the 996 OM to 997.

I used Gold Crest in GA for my fix; they were awesome.

Any idea which line went or how many miles/track days are on the car?

Which turn?

The coolant I drove through was by flag stand entering 17

Not sure where it started

Same place as mine which resulted in a very scary spin for me. I'm grateful everyone behind me got through with no problems.

It'll never happen but it would be great if Porsche did a recall on all these cars and performed an appropriate fix. Even when my engine was out all they would address was the one bad line....
