If you consider what it would cost to take a normal used 997.1RS, install full cage, similar seats, wheels, wing, suspension etc you would be approaching the 150k+ mark.

this RGT already has all of these items factory installed plus a serial number and rare production #'s.

So for 190k it is not too far off.

I wonder which gas tank it has? 60L or 90L?

Anybody looking to run a Targa Newfoundland event with a full caged porsche, then this would be perfect
Other then that i would recommend a full caged koni challenge 996 or 997. (unless you already have a caged 911, 944, 964, 993, 997 etc... )

Think about how race boxes are geared- one gear picks up where the last left off; close ratio with sixth gear being a continuation of the linear ratios and not an overdrive.

So it has a short R&P and altered ratios in the gearbox?
According to some info I have saved back from 2007 it states
3.82:1, 2.26:1, 1.64:1, 1.29:1, 1.06:1, 0.92:1 and final drive of 3.44 which i think are same like 997 gt3.
but it mentions it has a short shifter.
here is a quote from the brochure in German. "Der RGT wird ausschließlich mit Heckantrieb und einem 6-Gang-Schaltgetriebe mit Sperrdifferential und Schaltwegsverkürzung ausgeliefert."
And also the top speed 315 matches the topspeed of the standard 997 gt3.
Maybe its something special for this car only?

From the order sheet:

Linear Gearing (Like cup car).

And that's the way it was described to up from the factory (closer gears, non overdrive sixth)...basically their way of saying it has closer ratios than stock. We ordered it on Jackys car and on this one. Unfortunately none of the order information has the exact ratios...
